BuildPoint 2020 Has Been Cancelled
The health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance to us. After closely monitoring the risk and impact of COVID-19, and with input from our community, BuildPoint, which was scheduled for April –19 – 22, 2020 has been officially cancelled for 2020 and will not be postponed or rescheduled to another date or location.
Recent developments regarding COVID-19 include, but are not limited to, the declaration of a National State of Emergency by President Trump; the various statewide states of emergency declared across the nation; the latest federal measures, including travel restrictions placed on foreign nationals traveling to the United States from certain EU member states and other places; the declaration by the WHO of COVID-19 as a pandemic; the accelerating pace of confirmed cases worldwide and domestically; the current quarantines, containment areas and restrictions on congregating and large gatherings imposed by states and other government and public health authorities; various company-imposed travel restrictions on employees affecting attendees and participating companies; and the resulting cancellations made by several BuildPoint attendees and partners.
These developments have made it impossible to effectively execute an April Event that delivers the level of customer value we deliver and our community expects. Driven by our responsibility to ensure the best interests of the BuildPoint community, we made the decision to cancel BuildPoint 2020. The next BuildPoint is scheduled for April 11 – 14, 2021 at the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona.
We are grateful to all of you for your long-standing support and loyalty to BuildPoint and thank you in advance for understanding our decision. Additional information will be posted to the BuildPoint portal regularly – and we will be in touch with each of you by email before the end of this week.
