Golf Tournament: Oak Marsh Golf Course
The Omni Amelia Island Resort’s Oak Marsh Golf Course is one of the truly classic Pete Dye-designed golf courses in the world. The course, is noted for its tight fairways and small greens, meandering along serpentine salt marsh creeks and through the moss draped heritage oaks for which Amelia Island is famous. At par 72, this 6,471-yard course has 14 holes with water hazards and numerous bulk-headed greens. A variety of bunkers are placed throughout the course to add to the challenge, and a natural approach has been maintained as well with the use of coquina shell cart paths, native plant life and preserved habitats for the local wildlife.
7am Golfers to take the hotel shuttle to course for Breakfast & Practice, with a 8am start. Lunch and awards following play.

Optional ​Activity: Amelia River Cruise and Lunch
Join us as we embark on an exceptional 2 1/2-hour journey along the local waterways of Amelia and Cumberland Islands. Our captains will guide you through the waterways unveiling the captivating history and diverse wildlife of the area. This cruise offers opportunities to see the wildlife and hear about the area’s fascinating history. You will even be introduced to a little bit of Kings Bay Naval Station history and their Ohio class of nuclear submarines. Come experience the thrill of searching for playful dolphins, turkeys, alligators, sea turtles, manatees, pelicans, the American bald eagle, and more as you cruise along the picturesque shorelines. Admire the fascinating Fernandina shrimp boats, historic Old Town, and iconic landmarks. Once a playground for the super-rich and famous, Cumberland Island is home to hundreds of feral horses, and you will learn the legendary tales of the Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Kennedy families’ history. Tour include live music on board! At conclusion we will head over the Sand Bar Restaurant for a private lunch. 7:30am Check-in and Continental Breakfast, group with depart at 8:20am and return to the resort by 1:30pm
